Use a case?
Eh many told me that already but I wanted to do something to make it more unique. Thanks anyway.
Hmm do you think nail polish would help with the flaking process then? Thank you.
You’ll need to mask(block off) your holes first. I’d suggest a robust putty like Rodico that doesn’t break apart easily.
For the microphone, forget the putty. Lightly press a toothpick against the microphone hole and paint around it. Make sure that you dont break the end of your toothpick in the hole.
A job like this is all about the prep work. The actual painting should be easy
Thank you very much!
Just get these silicone port plugs. The paint won't even stick to them.
As others have said, it will be challenging to get the paint to stick. If you're looking for paint try the touch up paint section of an auto parts store.
Nail polish will flake too. You'd kinda have to sand the phone to get any sort of bite from a paint finish. If you want to go that route you'll want to get to close to automotive grade as you can. That means lots of sanding, keeping everything free of any finger grease and using a robust primer>color>clear coat combo.
A wrap will be easier 100% but if you want to go for it it's all about planning and prep
Get a clear hard case( not silicone) and paint the inside of the case. Let it dry longer than you think it needs.
With paint. Jeez.
You don’t. Or you take the entire phone apart

Use a skin instead. Paint will flake off with the amount of use a phone gets no matter what you do.
