Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well! I have a situation I would like some advice on, and I thought this subreddit would be the perfect place to ask. I recently moved into a new home in Connecticut, and while I was unpacking, I noticed that my white carpet had some dark stains. I have no idea how they got there, but I'm hoping someone can help me figure out how to clean them. I'm also looking for green carpet cleaning options and heard about ct carpet cleaning. I want to avoid using harsh chemicals and prefer a more natural approach. I've heard about using baking soda and vinegar, but I'm unsure if that will work on my particular stains.

Has anyone had similar issues with their carpet and found a successful green solution, such as ct carpet cleaning? I'd love to hear about it! I understand that finding an effective green solution for carpet cleaning can be challenging, but I'm determined to find something that works. I've read about the benefits of using products like lemon juice and hydrogen peroxide, but I wonder if they fit my situation. I would love to hear any personal experiences or recommendations that you may have. I know that many people in Connecticut are also conscious of their environmental impact, so I'm sure I'll find some helpful insights here. If you're unsure about a solution but have used a professional service that uses green methods, such as ct carpet cleaning, I'd love to hear about that as well. I understand that some green cleaning products may not be as effective as traditional ones, but I'd rather take the risk and avoid harsh chemicals that could harm my family.

I appreciate any advice or tips you may have! Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you all.

P.S. - If you're curious about the stains, they're located near the entryway and look like they may have been caused by dirt and mud. I've tried to clean them with a mild detergent and water, but it hasn't made a noticeable difference.

This sounds odd, but we have been using Nature's Miracle enzymatic cleaner since moving into our "new to us" home. We had the carpets pro cleaned, of course, but we have had some mud, some puppy puke, and some ?? stains show up and I swear this stuff is a miracle, just like the name infers.

One solution you could try for your carpet cleaning issue is renting or buying a carpet cleaner machine. You can use any cleaning solution you prefer with it, and it might solve the problem. It's possible that the issue isn't the solution you're using, but rather the way you're applying and cleaning with it.

Even a less expensive carpet cleaner can work wonders, so don't worry about spending too much. It's worth considering getting one so you can clean your carpets a few times a year. You'll be amazed at how dirty your carpets were once you see the water that's sucked back up.

Plus, since you have white carpets, investing in one of these machines is probably a good idea.

It is very possible that a high traffic area has simply worn out. The die used to color the carpet fibers has worn and that is why you don't see a difference in your cleaning attempts. My mom had this issue with a carpet that was less than 10 years old. Turned out to be a defect in manufacturing.

Where in the state are you? If you're on or near the shoreline (I'm not exactly sure how far they go), I'd look into Clean In Between out of Westbrook.

They're a green cleaning service.
