A relative had surgery in early February, had a rash, and went back to the Nuvance doctors 3 times post surgery, and none of them could diagnose it. A walk-in clinic diagnosed it in 5 mins and gave her meds for it. This is a person who never had bed bugs or scabies in her life.

I now heard from that there was a major outbreak at Danbury Hospital last year.

Did this happen to anyone else?

Just in case you dont already know, assuming the rash is actually from bedbugs, whatever they gave her at the clinic is only going to make the rash feel better. To make it go away, a pretty serious deep clean will be necessary at her home.

Have not heard of this, with multiple friends and family having had stays at DH. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Granted, none in 2023.
