I’m considering switching to mint mobile from Verizon and I’ve read they use the same cell towers as t mobile. No one I know has t mobile so I cannot ask them. Does anyone in the Bristol area have t mobile? Is it decent connection? The coverage maps they have on their website look promising but wanting to see some real opinions

T-Mobile is my carrier and I have zero issues with them. I can’t comment on Mint Mobile, but T-Mobile has been perfectly fine for me.

You can test TMo network for free if you have an eSIM compatible phone. Just download the TMo app

I used straight talk for couple years back in 2011-2013 it was also using t mobile network and one of my friend was using t mobile. It was okayish around new haven but it wasn’t good when we were going north of the state. I switched to AT&T and it was superb. I would choose Verizon or AT&T

Download the T-Mobile app on your phone and you can get a digital sim from them for 3 months so you can test out their service.

It's been a couple-few years, so my opinion may not be very relevant anymore, but I had a poor experience with T-mobile/Sprint on both networks. Signal was too weak to even make calls in a number of locations. I feel like out of the two when I had both around the same time, the Sprint network was worse, but that network is basically gone at this point post-merger. It did improve quite a bit leading up to the shutdown though in terms of coverage, but still a bit slow. T-mobile still has 2G up and running apparently for another year, I guess to fill in the gaps.

I've used mint for 3 years and like it, just north of you. Good coverage almost everywhere I go, iirc, they're 5g up to Chippens Hill. Hotspot usage of your phone is included. I use T-Mobile for my home internet, and the nice thing about using 4-5 G instead of cable is I bring my modem in my motorhome and get wi-fi without using cell phone data.
