Super cheap taxes, people don’t realize that Windsor locks isn’t really in the landing “path”. enfield is, and it’s super Loud and you have to stop talking until the plane goes over.
You hear planes taking off, and the train.

They broke ground on the train station a month or two ago. Should be done in 2024 I believe.

It’s great until you have planes flying over your house all the time.

I have to hear planes landing in Oxford and that’s annoying, I wouldn’t want to live that close to Bradley.

I live and work in Windsor locks. Just bought a house here a month ago. Got a good amount of house for the $ considering the market. I don't even notice the air traffic most of the time and I am only a mile from the airport. Taxes are much cheaper than West Suffield. Neighborhood is decent with friendly people and is quiet.
