Call your town reps and make some polite inquiries for starters.

Condo board member here.
The town will not plow your road they will not fix your road they will not pickup your trash. If you have town sewer you will have to pay for any repairs past the main town owned street.
Here is the best part your taxes will pay for fixing or providing all these services to everyone else in town!
They will send fire and police if you need them. At least they do that.

I really hate the form of condos that are built in our state. They're built in this manner cut off from local roads and distanced from surrounding neighborhoods and amenities. You get to live in a dense neighborhood, but you still need to drive anywhere to do anything and don't receive the same services as your fellow town members.
There is a facebook group called 'Montville Community Forum', and there are some very knowledgeable residents there. If you have a FB account, you may want to join and ask. Maybe somebody there has done this research already.

(Typically) That road you drive through in your condo is a private road, the complex is private property. I'd imagine the town also does not do the plowing there for the same reason. This is CT, we all get short changed on taxes.

Are condos assessed at a lower tax rate to account for the reduced services?
