"Native Land Digital" is an indigenous-led, Canadian-based non-profit group seeking to raise awareness of where original Native American tribes owned property. “Owned property” might be the incorrect terminology, just to keep this in line with the spirit of this project. Maybe, “tribes who lived for time immemorial”?

Totally. I think I’ve heard the phrase “time immemorial” when describing how long Native Americans have lived places - at least in the Pacific Northwest.
