Well if you work at Walmart in Tennessee and transfer to Connecticut, your pay will have to be raised to the new minimum at least. Most service jobs pay more here than in other parts of the country. That’s the same for every national company.

I’m getting this information because I live in connecticut and I’ve worked in connecticut my whole life. People have transferred from out of state to here and have had a pay increase because of the minimum wage and tenure.
