New to CT

Recently moved to CT from CA and want to make new friends, so far its been a struggle unfortunately.

I want to explore more of CT and the surrounding states.

Prefer to meet anyone of university age as I graduated with my B.S. May '22

WAKA kickball out of New Haven or Hartford is fantastic for meeting people. My wife and I joined when we first moved to New Haven not knowing anyone and meet some of our new best friends. It’s a social league so tailgating and going to the bar after is more important then the game. Sunday’s became an all day event.

What part of CA did you come from? Very different vibe in CT I gotta be honest. What area of CT did you land? Its not impossible to make friends tho.

Yeah around here people consider 45 min a long drive, whereas people out west drive the length of CT on the regular lol

Best bet is to hit up New Haven coffee shops or the quieter pubs often. Familiarity breeds friendship here

Hey I'm from Madison, definitely hit up the downtown strip, RJ Julia's, Willoughby's coffee shop. I'm sure it's changed a lot since I've lived there (20 years) but those spots are still around. In the summer hit up hammo Beach.
