I doubt anyone would ever get in trouble for it. It was mostly enacted for documents getting thrown out.

Something to do with tax documents if I'm right.

Only way I think anyone could ever get in trouble is if some Robocop decides to be a real dickhead .. or if a mess is made.

Good to be aware of - one can get into trouble for dumpster diving, so anyone doing it - be careful, be considerate, don't get caught. 😉
