From what I’ve read there has never been a proven link between high voltage lines and cancer or health issues. I know many people that work in the power industry and actually touch high voltage daily for decades and you’re more likely to injured pulling a muscle than being harmed by an electric field. Unless you come in close distance without proper protection.

TLDR: Studies have examined associations of these cancers with living near power lines, with magnetic fields in the home, and with exposure of parents to high levels of magnetic fields in the workplace. No consistent evidence for an association between any source of non-ionizing EMF and cancer has been found.

Yeah, but I hear the sample size was really small and they had trouble replicating the results due to trouble finding volunteers for follow-up studies.

We were considering a property @ 6/10th of a mile from high voltage transmission lines. I researched a bunch and spoke to the electric company a couple of times. There does not seem to be a direct link to cancer or brain tumors, but there also has not been a ton of research.

The hell with the health reasons. It just looks like shit to have your home sitting underneath high tension wires. It kinda screams "hey, look at the great deal we got on this house. "

Yeah, can't have your friends and family thinking you're just a poor person.

Electricity is the same everywhere. Any research you want to look at doesn't need to be unique to Connecticut unless I've misunderstood what you're looking for.
