I may not agree with them, and I don't live in Darien, but I commend them for doing what they believe is in the best interest of the residents of their town.

I don't understand being against a POW flag or LGBT flag.

I do understand not wanting Norwalk kids in their schools.

And I believe the island will be for public use for the residents to enjoy and use for recreation.

It isn't tone deaf, it's the selectmen making decisions that the residents want them to make.

You stop ALL flags to be able to not display LGBTQ flags because of bigotry.

Yes, a town isn't going to spend 100 million dollars of their own money for someone from out of town to come use.

They probably don't want 'the poors' in their bubble..again, it's their bubble, they can run it as they see fit. You being salty and upset won't fix that or make them change, they don't care.
