I may not agree with them, and I don't live in Darien, but I commend them for doing what they believe is in the best interest of the residents of their town.

I don't understand being against a POW flag or LGBT flag.

I do understand not wanting Norwalk kids in their schools.

And I believe the island will be for public use for the residents to enjoy and use for recreation.

It isn't tone deaf, it's the selectmen making decisions that the residents want them to make.

To play devils advocate be more specific unless your cool with flags for North korea , iran , isis, Union jack , communist china and a ton of other location based ones .
