I work for Amazon now and wanted to transfer there, but they kept putting off the open date so I stopped applying for the transfer.

I hear it's actually open now. If you work there, is it any good? Let me know all experiences good and bad.

I posted the same thing to /r/hartford so apologies if you read it twice.

Who is coming on to the Amazon worker forums to Astroturf our posts? I'm getting downvoted for wanting to move to a new building, and dudes are getting downvoted for saying they like their job. Christ, we are adults, we can choose our own jobs well enough. I can't even get legitimate advice about moving to another site because everyone derails the post.

Dude, I'm a level 1 ship dock associate in Ohio, and I want to move to level 1 ship dock in Connecticut because that would be a lot closer to my family. Take off your tinfoil hat man.

I appreciate you, IO, but that fool is such a negative Nancy and pisses on everyone's Cheerios. This OP was looking for good information for an employer transfer. OP already works for Amazon and wasn't looking to leave the organization. OP wanted factual information about one location.
