I live out on the country, so this can happen. I just feel bad tossing the carcass when people who know how to dress it would enjoy it.

Throw it into the woods and let the foxes have it. That’s what I do when my pet snakes don’t feel like eating the rodents I thaw. They’re always gone the next day.

Thats what i ended up doing.

There is a large corn field across from my house. Either coyotes or foxes with get it.

Someone's dog kills a rabbit and the first thought is to rush to the internet to see if any local strangers want the carcass.

I've been on reddit 10+ years and this may be the oddest thing I've come across.

And now here I am, commented about it from my couch 4 towns away.

It may be more odd that I thought op had forced his rabbit and dog into a bet where if one lost a race it would need to be dressed in clothing chosen by Reddit.

Idk, wild rabbit is pretty damn tasty. It is leaner than domestic rabbit and taste great fried in batter
