Hey all, I was hoping someone might have a suggestion for a lumberyard that carries oak, cherry, walnut, maple, etc, for a hobby woodworker. I'm near New Haven but I'm happy to drive if the prices are better further north. It seems like most of the places around here cater towards builders who need softwoods and trim. I just need a few dozen board feet at a time usually, for furniture. Thanks!

The staff at Parkerville are very helpful and will guide you through your wood options. As a newbie I really appreciated that.
