Unacceptable. I can understand being behind Massachusetts, but to be surpassed by New Jersey is SO FUCKING embarrassing I’m not quite sure where to begin. Absolutely disgraceful.

Read the article. We’re not. In the quality rating we’re second.

Forbes just tried to toss in some arbitrary “safety” rating this year that somehow put us at “3”. The methodology is nonsense.

Are you a teacher? Do you work in education?

Are you familiar with the school systems in both states from a first person perspective?

What makes being third behind new Jersey so “embarrassing”?

If you are so passionate about about this, maybe you could be part of the solution. Get into education and make CT schools better.

No; No; I am a product of the CT public education system; New Jersey is a garbage state of low standards, to me lagging behind New Jersey is just as bad as lagging behind Mississippi; sure thing.

It seems as if you have a personal vendetta against the state of New Jersey that's clouding your judgement. That's unfortunate you can't celebrate Connecticut's success.

I wish you the best, and I hope whatever is bothering you fades.

Maybe it's best you don't get into education, I refute my earlier comment; you wouldn't be a good teacher.

I work in education as well. I work in the number 1 rated public school in CT. Been teaching and coaching for 7 years.

Sounds like your the reason why CT is getting beat by Jersey :(
