I'm in Stafford at the moment, I saw a fireball to the southeast, followed by what looked like 3 or 4 helicopters circling the area it went through. I didn't see it in time to get my phone out, unfortunately.

rarely “green meteorites” are actually old soviet satellites burning off as they fall towards earth. Learned this when I saw a huge green orb falling by my house years ago.

I am not sure if I saw this, but last night in Glastonbury around 615-630 I saw a bright round light quickly falling through the sky, and it had a green-tinged tail. It was seriously cool! not sure if this was the same sighting though.
