I mean, that teacher is still in the school and on premises, lurking around.

One of those things that if it makes you uncomfortable enough to want to leave the school I’m sure it will still make you uncomfortable and distract you during the day when you’re trying to focus.

This teacher should be disbarred and the reactions they received from the school staff is disgusting and unacceptable

So the two teachers it could be- one has a VERY common name. OP could be mistaken. If a teacher has a felony they don’t get a job at a school. Period.

That’s what I figured with a felony but that’s not how this post reads, if you’re right and it’s a mistaken identity then I would agree.

Edit: OP states the school acknowledges there was an issue but won’t comment.

Yes my dad called the school and one of the main offices for our towns schools and both confirmed, after he told them he had found the docket number, that it was absolutely my teacher who was arrested for restraining order violation and another charge

I don't know how to know that but he was only away for one day after going to jail and then returned after that he has had like two more days where he wasn't here the rest of the days he is always in the school so i don't think so

Contact your school board cause they’re the ones in charge of when things go sideways. And start writing your mayor and senators. They’re more likely to step in and figure out how to revoke the lisc if it hasn’t been revoked already. If anything it will get more attention and eyes on it. And talk to the media.

This kid is potentially blowing up their own future though.

What this kid needs is better direction for how to handle the situation. I don’t have that answer. But is there a way to confirm the charges to the teacher? Is it the right person they are thinking of? If the school isn’t giving answers but are confirming something happened and wont speak to it, can they go to the judicial system? Police station? Local politician? School board?
