Looks like a good place for a low income housing project.

Connecticut IS beautiful! I came back to visit after living away for many years this fall - there are not many places that compare to new england

Moved here from california. Been around the states and abroad. I can say CT is probably the best state to live in because of its beauty. Desert is kinda pretty but nothing beats lush dense forests, clouds and cute old towns

New England is probably the most beautiful place in the country- There are some "spots" that are pretty in other parts, but to have to have 8 or 9 states that all have breathtaking scenery is rare.

I will pay for dinner and bring all the booze you want. Also the green plant if youā€™re into it. Just to have an awesome conversation and looking out at that view.

You said ā€œso is the rest of the United Statesā€ when I can assure you that a whole swath of the United States is not beautiful or desirable. Dead cornfields and dark grey drab weather for many months with subzero temps. Iā€™ve lived it. The United States is best in the Rockies (where I live now) and New England. Iā€™m not sure I could break it down more simpleā€¦.

I would 100% fly my paramotor from a backyard like that... I'm envious.

Most beautiful state. Perfect balance between mild civilized tameness and unspoiled natural splendor. No other state strikes quite the same equilibrium.

Killer yard man.

Connecticut IS beautiful. Don't tell anyone and keep encouraging the haters to move the eff on. I just want to look at views like this and pet cows.

Its sad how many people in this forum are probably looking at this view and thinking, you know you can fit a lot of affordable housing on that property.

Two years ago there was a 140 foot, 10ā€™ wide trench dug through there. Itā€™s surprising how much Lawn Science helped. We are on a well, so no regular irrigation, though we did water the hell out of it in 2021. We stopped when the drought hit and it was mostly yellow.

Iā€™m really frugal and it was a tough decision to pay someone to test and treat the lawn but has been worth it.

We mow it ourselves and do all other property care on our own. Itā€™s become a hobby I guess.

It's the distinct seasons and the transitions. I've lived in places that are perpetually green and have their own charms. For those who were born here, New England calls out to you even on the other side of the world.
