Bozrah never gets the respect it deserves. Could it be the aromatic and lingering scent of cow manure that perfumes our town? Regardless, Mains Country Store is 10/10.

I’m going to have a tough time believing Canaan is a bottom 5 place to live in CT

Killingworth should be near the top of the list. I no longer live there, but I miss it every day.

The bottom five towns make no sense at all. I can't imagine any way that living in Bridgeport or Hartford would somehow be better than being in Canaan.

This list is a bit weird, but I guess it smooshes together disparate folks’ needs

Moved from Southbury to West Hartford in December of 2019. Best thing I ever did. The following year I was able to refinance to a 15 year mortgage at 2.25%. I look at this house as a little nest egg.

I like how they included “Milford” and “Milford City”. Not sure this poll has much merit.

How on earth is Bolton behind downtown Hartford and Mansfield center?

I basically grew up in Bridgeport and lived there for part of my adult life. The only reason I ever step foot back there is to visit my aunt and bass pro. There is nothing else worth going there for.

Had to look up belltown. I thought they were using weird slang for East Hampton 😂

East Hartford is underrated because nobody realizes there’s certain neighborhoods and schools that are nicer than some neighborhoods in West Hartford. (Look up IB Academy before you attack me.)

Decent amount of the towns listed are just suburbs WITHIN Greenwich. Huh.

How is South Norwalk not on at least the top 25...one of the best neighborhoods by far for professionals and empty nesters (we need more places like this represented on this list not just hallmark movie suburbs). Lots of diverse restaurants and shops (better than bland West Hartford imo), pretty walkable, and great access to the train station - all while being a model example of adaptive reuse (i.e. repurposing historical buildings). There's no neighborhood like it in CT to be honest.

You've got 6 districts of Greenwich in this list. Might as well slide in Mianus.

Idk how Washington is the best in Litchfield county . In terms of livability, I’d say it’s between New Milford and Litchfield.

Half of these places sound made up (possibly towns/schools that Hogwarts would compete against): Tarrifville, Turn of River, We at a Gue?

My old hometown of Trumbull is 72, my current hometown of Shelton is 81, and my side hometown (because I have a lot of family there) of Milford is 99.

I would have put Milford higher. I love living in Shelton, but if I could afford it I'd be in Milford. I don't have kids, but there's great schools for people that do, there's beaches, a mall, a movies, a great downtown, and a train station that gets you directly to New York.

Shelton has a train station at Home Depot called the Shelton/Derby stop, that gets you to Bridgeport, and then you can switch to an NYC train. I'd rather have a direct train stop though.

Trumbull is very nice, and I was lucky to live in a safe place, but the taxes are horrendous, and both Shelton and Milford offer more to people of all ages. Milford more than Shelton though.
