Moving to Connecticut from June - December to do an internship in Westchester County, NY. Since I’m technically an enrolled student during my internship, my permanent residence remains as my home state of Michigan. The car I would be bringing is owned and registered by my parents who permanently live and work in Michigan. Would I have any problems bringing the car and never registering/notifying CT DMV about it?

No problems with registering in CT but of course make sure you're a covered driver under their insurance policy. And keep the registration/policy card available in case you need them.

No, you don't have to do anything as not a full time resident.

Keep it registered out of state as long as you can. You get taxed yearly for it here.
