Hello y'all,

I'm a soon to be college grad that recently got a job offer near Baltimore. I plan to move to the area around June after I graduate in May. Does anyone here have any 1 bed 1 bath apartment/housing recommendations under $1500? I know Orchard Park, Bluffs at Fairway, Howard crossing, Autumn Crest, Elms at Kendall, and Avalon are some suggestions that was mentioned here, however it seems that their prices has risen lately :(
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Autumn crest stinks. Management sucks and the building sucks.

I really liked Howard Crossing both times I’ve lived there. You can walk to old Ellicott City!

You may not love hearing this, but get a roommate. You can get a much better and nicer place if you are sharing a two bedroom apartment, or town home, especially if you are just graduating and moving to a new area.

20-25 minutes for me. I bought a Wii U from the Archive on Main Street and didn’t have a problem carrying it back in a box to my apartment on Town and Country. We lived in the very first building on corner of T and C and Rogers Ave, though.

I would also highly recommend this. My roommate and both graduated in 2020 and moved to Columbia, we pay around $2200 for a fairly nice and updated 2 bed 2 bath. Our complex has some cheaper 2 bedrooms (closer to $2000). However our friend who used to have a 1 bedroom was paying between $1600-1700 for an okay place. You are going to get much more value if you find a roommate to split rent with
