Does anyone know what happened? I was in this from 6 to 9pm, it was a disaster. I'm kinda mad that there was no traffic control

A child died. Traffic control is not a priority.

It totally is, a 5 hour traffic jam is an emergency, so many things can happen. A Dr in that traffic jam going to the hospital for an emergency procedure to save another child is just as much or more important

This is why there are escorts in that situation, and people who need emergency services contact 911. Please don't talk about things you obviously don't understand.

It's a hypothetical situation trying to show there's an infinite number of just as important possibilities of why traffic control is critical. Traffic control is not exclusive of rescue services. You can have both things, this is a first world country with resources.

My brother, a helicopter had to land on 29 to take someone to shock trauma. You getting your jalapeño poppers shouldn’t be prioritizing over trying to save lives.

I didn't say that, stop putting words in my mouth. One thing doesn't exclude the other. You can have rescue operations and traffic control at the same time. Are there only 4 cops in the entire county? What if someone had an emergency and was going to the hospital? A 5 hour traffic jam is an emergency

You’re right. However, what you just stated didn’t actually happen, and a helicopter needing to take person(s) to shock trauma did. You are not an EMT, you are not a police officer, you are not an EMS employee, so please stop acting like you know better than the folks who’s job it is to do this stuff.

Please tell me what's wrong with asking for traffic control in this situation and how it's not a priority? I was able to get out after 3 hours just because one cop let ppl exit by 100 on ramp. I don't have to be a plumber to know there's a leak

Nothing. But a Reddit post isn’t the place to do so. Call the county and provide your input. Posting your opinion here just opens the door for criticism and won’t result in any action, if it is just.
