We get a lot of meat from this place, OP. Their quality is wonderful and they are really nice.

Not a butcher shop but Mary's Land Farm sells some of this stuff.

Not in Columbia but John Browns up by Hunt Valley has good local cuts as well as a great lunch to eat while you are there

added bonus: Boarman's is the only grocery store in HoCo (that I know of) that can sell alcohol.

Not sure if it will meet your news entirely, but Mary's Land Farm is a meat farm near here.

Highly second for Treuths

I believe that Mary's Land is only frozen as well. Since all their stuff is natural, the cuts are not that big. (no hormones and all grass fed.)

I have only been here for a year so still getting to know the area. I haven’t been able to find a butcher store which sells high-end products, like big and clean (no bone chips) marrow and soup bones, prime beef, etc. I have been shopping at Wholefoods but just came back from a northwest vacation where went to a high-end butcher store “Mr Prime Beef”. They sold much higher grade of seafood and beef products than I have found locally here, high enough quality to be in demand from restaurants. Willing to drive further.
