I ordered once and the food was average. I'll give in-person dining a try.
At this point, I usually stick with Tea Horse or Pepper House in nearby Ellicott City

Pepper house gets me pooping more than any other Sichuan I've had, and not the best kind of pooping either

Me and my wife were super disappointed when we tried out this place. The food tastes just OK, definitely caters more to a western palate, and is really expensive for what you're getting.
For better food, our top 3 Chinese places around Columbia/EC are:
- Pepper House for really authentic and really delicious noodles.
- Tea Horse for Sichuan food. Red Pepper Sichuan Bistro in Towson (same owner) has nearly the same menu, might be just bit better, but is a significantly further drive.
- Nanxiang Express always hits the spot for Flushing-take-out-style soup dumplings, breakfast dimsum dishes, and some Shanghainese dishes.

We really enjoyed it. Dined in with a party of 6, shared a bunch of smaller plates, liked everything and loved some of them. I particularly like their veggies, something that Sietsama highlights in this review, and the chicken lettuce wraps were one of our favorites. Only negative from our experience was price, which is pretty high but comparable to other restaurants for a nice night out. I probably wouldn’t order takeout at that price point.
I haven’t tried Tea Horse but it’s definitely on my list. Pepper House and Nanxiang Express are good, but are different sorts of restaurants, and I would rank the food I had at Peter Chang’s above either.

I got incredibly sick after i went to the soft opening. When I mean incredibly sick, I mean severe stomach pain and sickness for several days. Diarrhea, nausea, etc. I lost 6 pounds and had no appetite for 4 days. I had the lionhead pork meatball and it looked partially raw. I should of trusted my gut and send it back.
Not trying to exaggerate but it was really that bad. I will not be going back

Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.

Chinese food has a finite top end. There is no improve it, there is just making it poorly.

I was excited to have this come here, tried takeout from it a handful of times, and it was quite bad each time. Thought it was just the stuff I tried or a bad day, but it was lousy each and every time with different food.
