Report to police. Do you have proof of purchase & bike serial number - will want to share w police as well. Hopefully you were registered on bike registry prior? Several websites to register on & network can help alert you if bike surfaces. Also check local Craigslist & Facebook marketplace.

Single speed rear w front cogs? Def unique setup. Will keep an eye out. Sorry to hear.. Was at brattle few days ago. Lots of bikes in the area. Most seemed decently secured.
How did they cut? Hacksaw?

This is why I will only consider folding bikes. Fuck bike thieves

In addition to reporting to police, you might want to check nearby businesses to see if there are security cameras which may have recorded the thief in action. My bike was stolen on Brattle 2 years ago and there was footage that showed identifying tattoos. Although the police didn't find the guy, I was lucky enough to actually find my bike 3 weeks later dumped in the bike rack in front of the wedge shaped building at Harvard St & Mass Ave, so keep an eye out.

If anyone has any tips on how to recover a bike in Cambridge I’d appreciate any advice.
Edit: it also has this sweet (I ❤️Traffic) sticker on it on the lower half of the frame.
