I had a laugh whilst pedaling my high-wheeled penny farthing along a tranquil glen this aft'noon

"Aha!" said I, as the wet, muddy grass below impeded the propulsion of my ordinary. "I guess the shoe(horn) really is on the other foot(horn)!"

I proceeded to honk the Victorian-era cycle's oogah horn thrice more, startling a titmouse out of his early supper, and giggled myself halfway to Medford proper. Teehee!

I get this is a joke, but on the realz, I want to try riding one of those bikes. But a modern one with disk brakes. Even though brakes on those mean instant faceplant.
