Hi all! What's going on in Cambridge/Somerville for St. Patrick's this year? (18+ or 21+ preferable) I saw the "official" bar crawl, but am sure there's more than that. I have a friend visiting this weekend and figured we'd take advantage of the holiday since it's the first time since moving here that I won't be out of town for it! We're thinking dinner then drinks, maybe dancing, etc. I'll be doing some digging on my go-to bars & local going-ons but would love to hear your suggestions!

Lots of people will be starting at noon on Friday so most of the Irish bars will be a "mess" if you wait until after dinner to go.

Good to know! Maybe we’ll start earlier then. :)

There are plenty of options without heading into Boston:

-Paddy's Lunch -Conley's -Donahue's -Burren -Shine -Druid -Phoenix Landing -Charlie's Kitchen -Sligo -Orleans -PJ Ryan's -Cantab -Grafton Street

Try Mr Dooley’s on Broad Street for starters, then see where the day takes you. Avoid the pubs right around Faneuil Hall (unless you wanna get messy-trashed) but yeah the vibes are fun.

I would suggest taking the T into Boston for the day, either seeing the parade or pub crawl but the energy's usually fun in the city.
