They're tongs...they don't have complicated engineering or a myriad of moving parts. I would argue that ANY tongs are BIFL.

Not true. In fact I’m surprised by how shitty most tongs are for even household use. This is legitimately the first pair I’ve been able to use for more than a couple months. All others I’ve tried are garbage.
