I wear a size 16 and I'm looking for a BIFL house slipper. This is such a niche item, that I'm having a hard time finding good quality slippers. I can find disposable stuff all day long .... but that's not the point. In the past, about 8 or 9 years ago, I had a pair of Ugg Ascots that did quite well, but they weren't BIFL. They lasted about 6 years. I'm getting ready to pull the trigger again - and I'm leaning towards the Ugg Ascots once again...Can anyone talk me into something else?

Mens - Size 16 - House slippers.... Ready, set, go!!

Edit: Changed the flair - this has run its course. I went with the Uggs .... i was totally pleased with my last purchase. I'm hoping for the same experience again this time around :)

Big fan of the Ugg Ascots, and other Ugg products as well. I’ve had a pair for around 6 years also and they keep on being great. Definitely will get another pair when the ones i have now are ready to be retired!

+1. Going on almost a decade with mine. Solid construction and durable sole.

Looks like they've got some 40% off right now too! I would pick some up myself if I didn't already have some slippers

Loved my birk slippers but they failed after a year of use.

I have some uggs, a moccasin type that ive had for i think 12 years. Amazing house slippers. My dog chewed up the laces and destroyed the chestnut pair but the brown leather pair is going strong even against him. They dont make the design anymore i think but when im tempted to get a new pair for the house i remind myself these are legit BIFL so far

Buy a pair of casual leather driving loafers. I use them as slippers

LL Bean Wicked Good slippers are BIFL unfortunately they don't make them in 16. Mine are going strong 15 years later and I wear them daily in the winter. The sheepskin on the bottom is worn out but they are still comfy, warm and no failures.

Good luck finding a quality 16 slipper.
