Well Used Carhartt Belt

I used to ruin cheap belts ($25) or whatever until I found this bad boy I think it cost me about $65 in 2010

I wear this belt almost every single day weather I'm at work which is in a the oil field as a rig hand getting oilly and greasy, I wear it on my own time I live in the woods and end up doing alot of sweaty rough yard work cutting up tree, splitting and cutting, moving dirt alot of other harder side of home work you get the idea if I can be rough on a piece of clothing I do it I also wear it working out because like running back roads so I wear shorts with pockets to carry my knife and other stuff

I'm just posting because I'm interested in buying things that last a long time and just realized today I had something that are really well built I wish I could find this exact belt and buy another one but as of now it seems to be holding up to everything and not breaking anytime soon

That is full grain leather. Top rated. Any leather product that says "genuine " or "bonded" leather is just bits and pieces glued together.

If it says “genuine” leather it’s almost always the equivalent of chopped up pieces of leather glued together. Like mdf is to solid wood.

There is really no standard or regulation, controlling the labeling of leather products that I’m aware of. There are a lot of industry terms, but as long as it’s made out of some kind of leather, you can call it leather.
