Wiss is part of the Crescent family of tools now, which is my least favorite of the big tool conglomerates. Their metal snips are also bad these days

Well Wiss scissors back in the day were American made. When it comes to hand tools I like Channel Locks & Klein.

I have two sets as well and love them! I got them with my house, which was my grandpa's and he was always a firm believer in quality products, especially made in USA. They're the best!
