UPDATE 1: I just picked up Glerups Leather Sole, and they are very comfortable, I could definitely end up with just buying these if they hold up in the long run. They were true to size for me.

The slipper will only be used indoors at home.

Budget: $200

Do you have any personal experience to share?

Thank you for any input on this :)

What I've been looking into as of now: UGG Ascot (favourite so far), North Face Thermoballs, Old Friend Moccasin, LL Bean Slippers, Glerups Low Heel leather/rubber sole, Glerups Classic leather/rubber sole

Do you know if any of these have a little cushion for walking?

Check out Olukai - they have a nicely cushioned insole.

I love Falke wool slipper socks. The fuzz and knobbles on the base are insulating and feel good on a hard floor. Had mine for 5 years and no holes or problems. Wool is warm, breathes, lasts and wicks sweat. They aren’t super expensive but I think he could spend a lot more money and not get anything more effective.

The ones I have are the Kipuka Hulu, and the description of the insole is the same as for the Moloa. So I would assume they have a nice cushion. Not squishy like memory foam, more like soft rubber.

Fuzzy crocs. With your budget you can buy a pair to match each set of pajamas you own.

I have the shoe version with a leather sole and really like them as well. If you go this route, I recommend sizing slightly up and adding a shearling insole for ultimate comfort and durability.
