leaf it's more than $15 but considering you can bulk buy double edge blades and use those in it you're saving a ton long term

Second leaf. The initial investment isn’t chump change but DE blades can be had for next to nothing, it makes shaving so so affordable.

honestly its not a big difference between the leaf and some other good double edge razors anyway. i have a gilette my grandad used in korea that goes for about the same price but i prefer the leaf in every way, especially since i use it to shave my head and not just my neck

Merkur is a great brand. Don't know if they are on Amazon though

I use a Harry's for my legs ... shhh. ;p Just the razor blade and extra head is $9 if you can find them locally. If not, harrys.com + shipping. I also don't believe in a Pink Tax ;p

I bought a vintage one on eBay. 1960s Gillette.

Awesome! Best of luck. I clean and dry mine thoroughly after each use. Open it up, rinse the blade, and wipe it dry (carefully). You can find blades online or even at target.

You likely made the right decision. I’ve a Gillette from 1958 that still works and shaves to a super high standard. They’re built to last and cheap to run, unlike the Harry’s and dollar shave club crap other users recommended.

Easy to find at antique stores. I buy them frequently at $10. Clean and sanitize and they are ready to use. I use my grandfathers, probably 1940’s vintage, on a weekly basis.

Merkur Mk34c is excellent. My job requires me to shave daily and i have been using one of those for a number of years along with Feather safety blades. Buy the big pack and each blade is only about 37 cents each and i use one blade a week.

I really like my gillete safety razor, its holding up well and has no rust after a year living in the shower

Just bought a Hanson razor, made of aircraft aluminium. It uses normal razor blades but it works like a Mach 3, I havent cut myself yet

Edwin Jagger de89. I've been using one on my face for years. Very sensitive razor.

I recently purchased a Merkur 34C and love it. It's not all steel, but has a great reputation for durability with proper care.
