Oh no! Thank you for the reminder to disinfect the rest that I hadn't gotten to yet!

You can get a cobbler to work on them and have them looking brand new too. It’s a small investment to make for looks as well as the health of your feet and your spine.

Great idea - I've been meaning to find a local cobbler anyway

Dope collection!
What brand are those suede Chelsea boots on the far right in the top row?
Thanks in advance.

Thank you! Those (and the leather chelsea boots next to them) are Frye, but I was actually debating ditching the suede - they seem like they're harder to take care of/will have a shorter life than regular leather.

I was gonna ask what those boots were too. May I ask what you mean by "ditching the suede"?
PM_ME_CORGI_PUPPERS OP t1_j2dk4um wrote
I'm a fool - the boots next to the suede are RM Williams. I mean reselling or giving away the suede. I got them before the pair of leather chelsea boots and strongly prefer leather for both look and maintenance.

I'm pretty sure I got those same J&M lambskin loafers as a Christmas gift when I was a teenager. They weren't fashionable then, aren't fashionable now, and I'd wager they won't be at any point in the future. But holy crap are they comfortable.
The sole is better than some athletic shoes, and the lambskin is so supple that I could still wear them when they were a full size too small. I'm still upset I outgrew them.

The black loafers are Frye, but I still can't say enough good things about them. Incredibly comfortable and don't even feel like I'm wearing a shoe. They're also the clickiest clackiest shoe I have and I love it

Good grief! I keep hoping to find gold, but so far it's been all turds. I'm still not giving up the hunt though!

In my fifties, I will also buy such shoes.

I can’t wear other peoples shoes. They are already molded to their foot.

I thift a lot but I draw the line at shoes, bathing suits, and under garments. I'm just weird about other peoples sweat. 😂😂
I think I would have made the exceptions in the shoes that you have bought. Nice haul!

I can't say enough good things about Bick 4 and Blackrock Leather n Rich for making shoes look as good as possible. I'm very lucky that only two of the pairs had visible damage beyond scuffing or dry leather

Johnston & Murphy shearling-lined - I was looking for a cap toe boot and found that one relatively quickly.
