Faribault is machine washable, which is how I justified the price premium over Pendleton...

The Faribault Frontier says “Dry clean only” under the Materials and Care section.

Oh nice! How do you like that one? Think it’s as warm as the frontier? Looks like this one compare with the Ecowise from Pendleton, which is also machine washable.

It's about 3 pounds lighter than the frontier, so presumably not as warm? I can say it's not warm enough on its own on a very cold night. We have to add a waffle knit blanket for extra warmth... (This is in DC, too, so nowhere near as cold as you deal with!)

Pendleton Eco wool blankets are washable but their traditional ones are not

Yeah, it wasn't a huge factor in and of itself for us. I was more thinking of the cost of set cleaning being offset.
