As we have already too many cables and chargers in our lives, can someone recommend a shaver/trimmer that has a Type C socket for charging? The only one I found is from Xiaomi Mijia S700 so far but it is only a shaver. Also not very sure about its reliability.

Hi, barber here. Don’t buy a cordless trimmer. They are trash and don’t last. I have experimented with top barber quality cordless versions of their classics and they are garbage and you can’t fix them. The best trimmer on the market is the Andis t-trimmer. All parts are easily replaceable and you can have them serviced by Andis. For anyone reading this who is also wondering about clippers, Andis Masters.

I am not a barber, but totally agree: buy a corded trimmer.

Or wait till you get crushed by the pile of chargers and cables. I do not want to carry more cables with me when I travel. Yep, I am sure that a battery operated one is less powered than a wire one, but not everyone has a power socket inside their bathroom. Also, I am not a barber, so the amount pf trimming I need to do is less. My current Remington it on its last days but lasted me more than 10 years and it has a battery! I still, wonder how it managed to work for so long, probably I did not use it often enough.
