I use denture cleaning tablets. Fill with hot water, drop in all of the seals with two tablets, place the stopper and top up so the water is touching the bottom of the stopper. Let sit overnight and brush out in the morning. Though sometimes I put all of the plastic pieces in a separate container so they're fully submerged.

You could give that a try.

Thank you for the tips! I will give it a try. I was about to buy new one but this concerns me. If it can be cleaned up, definitely will buy more.
