There's a company that makes a sort of heat sink... A oval made from high thermal index alloys, plated with gold. Soaks up a good bit of heat without diluting anything. Not enough heat for my boiling tea, but it gets my coffee exactly where I want it. I think Coffee Joulies is the brand.
