Duck canvas is a work horse and should last forever if not frayed out. If you brush away any dirt and wax it, itll last another 50yrs.

Thats how I do it. Rub a bar of wax on the fabric then melt it in with a hair dryer.

I saw something online for canvas jackets that one runs the wax on, then melts it into the fabric with a hairdryer. Waterproofing.

I'm heartbroken. I had a favorited canvass military messenger bag in highschool that gave up the ghost after a couple years. If only I knew to wax it.
