Bosch 900 what? Bosch is a brand, they slap it on everything from power tools to car parts to burglar alarms.
Sounds like a dishwasher? I'm really impressed with my cheap benchtop one, but for full size at the cheap end whatever Aldi sells is probably worthwhile. Just make sure someone near you services them, a quick search normally reveals the local brand website for whatever it is.
Bah, so sorry, I'm a dum dum. Bosch Dishwasher. My bad for not specifying, I'll adjust the post. It's a Bosch 900 Dishwasher. It's been a great unit so far but it's freaking the freak out, guess I'll call the repair folks. The drain pump runs when the door is open, kinda bonkers.
Hopefully it's something simple. Good luck!
I fixed the same dishwasher a few weeks back. Seems that this error is fairly common due to the silicon ring being shitty quality. Replacing it fixed the error then. Costs about 30 bucks. Happens to 90% of the dishwashers from this model.
which high efficiency dishwasher would you recommend?? instead????
Depends on your budget. Miele dishwashers are top of the line and can go up to thirty years if you take good care of them. They are mostly between 800 and 1400 euro’s though. So not a really cheap option.
Personally I am a huge fan of Beko dishwashers. Turkish brand originally and their dishwashers hold up pretty darn good. I had a Beko in my student flat and it hold up with 6 roommates for 8 years. They are around 400 to 600 euro’s.
Only thing is that top of the line brands like Miele have better performance on drying dishes as well. Something that Beko only has if you pack it right.
My advice: BIFL a Miele with the best options available. My budget pick would be a Beko.
i currently have a samsung its great and works fine no issues... but im converting my entire house to high efficiency appliances everything already put the ac on the roof tesla solar is next then im tackling the little things like washer dryer dishwasher and water heater... going to try and add as many heat pumps to things as i possibly can... being in the state that im in going high efficiency will raise the selling price of my house... plus it would be pretty cool to just do... so im reallly looking at this as an investment
Just as a counterpoint: we had terrible luck with our Samsung --mostly with drainage, multiple issues over a couple of years.
From what I've read & heard online, Samsung appliances aren't well regarded in terms of reliability.
i would tend to agree with this... everything in the house now is currently that... and some work fine but others seem to have quality control issues and some strange operations at times.. and im tending to see more and more of this with their products that are NOT cellphones.. kinda reminds me of the current pc gaming scene where they give people a game that is half completed and then just fix whats broken later just to meet the quarterly revenues or something... im pretty well interested in bosch washer and dryer 500 series 2020 model i guess it seemed to have got a lot of awards for many things.. so now im looking towards whats next for fridge, hot water, and the dishwasher... and all of this i could do myself with the install so it would give me something to do also.
