Define 'everyday'

Presume you mean just for walking about town, going to work, etc. Or do you want something that also holds up to the rigours of a dog walk etc.

Do you want something slip on, or with laces etc.

So Chelsea boots. There are hundreds of makers of Cheleas boots at hundreds of price points. Google goodyear welted Chelsea boots and pick the ones that meet your price point/look desires as we can't do this for you. Goodyear welted is the BIFL construction type.

Yeah, Chelsea boots. Goodyear welted. Google it and take your pick! There'll be variations in style from the little pixie style my wife has, to the bovver boots useful for building sites and kicking fascists. Blundstone is generally regarded as very serious. Leather boots last long, longer if you take proper care of them (there's a WHOLE other sub devoted to that...) Not sure how long the elastic would last... or how easy to repair.

I can’t claim to know everything there is to know about boots but depending on your use purpose I’ve enjoyed my Jim Greens. They have Chelsea boots which sound like what you’re looking for. They have a wider toe box than most boots on the market so I’ve found them more comfortable than other boots I’ve worn. If you’re trying to go for walks in the bush you may want that. Do your research on them anyways and good luck.
