My first potato peeler (Sparschäler) I got this Sparschäler 10 years ago already used by my grand mother. It is still a mass product and you can buy it for round about 5 USD. American here. Any potato product tastes better if the skins are left on—fries, mashed taters, hash browns. Maybe not gnocchi but I wouldn’t be shocked.
