you neeeeeed cold weather gear. vividly remember 2013/2014 polar vortex. it was -65F w/wind chill. a good coat, gloves/mittens, hat, but also: long underwear. many pairs. oh, and a scraper for your car.

Insulated bibs or coveralls are godly when it comes to outside work, snow removal etc.
