Mutual friend’s birthday night out at a night club. Knew who each other where from sixth form, but hadn’t spent any time together. I paid for cab home (rather than get a lift) to make sure she got home safe. Nothing happened that night, but we met the following weekend, started making out and 28 years later, the rest is history.
