animals have their own dietary needs, generally based on their environment and where they fall on the carnivore-herbivore spectrum. for a example, a lion might thrive on a pure meat diet, while a cow would not be happy at all. one conclusion one can draw from this is that there is nuance to many situations.

Somebody smart would first question if animals are only getting seriously sick from eating processed foods. Other than that, it’s common knowledge that processed foods aren’t good for humans. Humans are animals. Animals are animals. I think your answer is in there somewhere.
