Most recently, Kevin Conroy, the iconic voice of Batman.

If you look at his Cameo, you can see that he was a genuine, loving, caring man. He was also openly gay in the 90s and was an aid volunteer during 9/11.

Just a great guy.

I didn’t cry, but I was honestly sad to hear about Trebek. He seemed like a good guy, and watching Jeopardy was a bonding activity for my family.

While it didn't make me cry, I've been more upset about the death of Robin Williams than any other celebrity; I'm not entirely sure why.

On that day I wrote "O Captain! My Captain!" on the corner of a whiteboard at work; it remains there to this day.

Chris Cornell

Leonard Cohen

Marty Balin

Harry Anderson

Ruth Bader Ginsburg

I don't "do death" well at all.

I was in 6th grade when the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded after liftoff. They even rolled out the television on a cart for us to watch that day. They made such a big deal about Christa McAuliffe being the first teacher in space. She was an absolute celebrity in the classrooms across America at that time. After the explosion, and the certainty of what happened set in, a lot of us kids were in tears.

Also, when Philip Seymour Hoffman passed I was pretty upset and kind of surprised it affected me as much as it did.

Robin Williams. I had a hotdog cart back in the day. On the corner of Robson and Burrard in Vancouver BC Canada. Robin used to stay at the Sutton Place Hotel across the street whenever he was in town. He would come to my cart all the time. I never made a big deal about him being there, so he would stay and hang out, sometimes for hours. We had some great conversations. I got to see the non celebrity side of him. I’ll say he was a genius and maybe a little crazy too

I knew the man not the celebrity, so when I heard he died, I was heart broken. I cried!

Brian the hotdog guy!

Kobe - it was sudden and shocking. The thought of him knowing he was going to die with his daughter is gut wrenching

River Phoenix - the 1st big celebrity death to effect me. Such a huge loss

Michael Jackson - Say what you want about him but I grew up on his music and loved him for as long as I can remember. It was like a part of me died with him

Pop Smoke didn’t make me cry but it hit me. I know he was in the streets and all that, but just something about him being my age and as I would get older, he didn’t.

From when he first EVER stepped into the booth until his death, there was only 14 months in between. We got robbed of seeing what he would’ve became

Vanity.

I heard this yesterday in the work kitchen by the way. My mama bear Andreese was bumping this. Coworker that treats me well.

Then Prince, 4 months later.

They were lovers and friends. The Prince song was about Vanity.

Freddie Mercury.

I wasn't allowed to listen to rock growing up. I heard this band queen on the radio after I got a car. Started buying albums on cassette, bought all their albums, freakin loved that band. One night I was up late and my parents were asleep and I watched a documentary on PBS about queen. At the end it said it was dedicated to Freddie Mercury with his birthdate and date of death. I admit, I cried.

Still enjoy listening to them once in a while, I've mostly moved on to bands like Muse and Coheed and Cambria...
