i like the "loneliness" of it, that there is no person around. good work

Thank you π I was feeling sad whilst painting this piece and I always let my emotions sway what will be part of my paintings. No trees, no farm buildings, no animals just complete space and the want to escape everything π

Something about the golden field gives it hope (from my perspective). Its not entirely swallowed by darkness, theres just a teensy weensy bit of hope/grounding.

Your paintings are the first time I've seen painted skies that actually look...familiar? Real? Either way, I love your art style. Thank you for sharing!

They say you can remember the Ukrainian flag because there are fields of grain under a blue sky. This feels like a darker version of that. As if the war has covered the grain in soot and the sky has darkened.

Great Work! Sorta reminiscent of this Album cover by the band Duster. Their sound fit the vibe of this painting insanely well btw.

Also the lack of scale actually works. Like, this could be a 2m square, or a 10 acre field

I typically hate color fields as a style but you really captured the subtleties of sky and field to impress me. Beautiful.

Why invest effort into making a blank oil painting? I feel nothing from it.

How did you achieve this effect? I can see the values you used but as I try to replicate it I cant seem to get it. Did you use a glaze?

I love the Rothko-esque color contrast between the two fields. It reminds me of tornado skies in Kansas.
