Sorry, I think you may have misread my question.

In the past, I've ruined markers when using them to colour drawings. I found that the inks already on the page bleed into the markers and stain them, ruining the original colour.

Do you have any tips for how to make the colours blend so evenly as you managed to with these drawings, but without wrecking your markers?

Ohw sorry! Yeah i use the markers as a base colour and all the shading i do with colour pencils!

It kills me how simple that is, yet it never occurred to me.

I'm really inexperienced when it comes to art, because I never had the focus to improve until I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 25 years old. There are so many simple tips like that which are probably second nature to artists like yourself that I just feel like I never caught on to because I gave up on even trying to be good at such a young age.

Thanks so much for sharing, I really appreciate it and I'll have to try it myself some time!

Just doing it for a year now, before i just used markers only. And started 3,5 years ago with learning (i am 35 now) to draw for serious (always doodled a little bit). But now i will never stop learning, drawing is addictive haha
