thanks, i'm thinking about doing larger ones in the black/greys, then stenciling pop art on top. i think the contrast in colors would look really nice

That would be cool. I did some spray paint stuff over some pours I did that didn’t turn out like I’d hoped. It really spruced them up.

the ol' recycle a painting method, i've done a few like that too, but my colors were bright and seemed distracting vs the stencil.

this color combo was suggested by a friend for their xmas gift..now i've got tons of other ideas for the combo. should lead to an interesting run of dark paintings.

My first one I did was a black, gray, and white color pattern. It came out funky. So a stencil really popped on it. Another was a double pour that formed a hard line like a horizon, so I did a spray paint planet and space sky on it. I just used some complimentary colors.

I like the grayscale color scheme. If this one is any indication of what’s coming, it sounds like some really interesting stuff is on the horizon.

you should post some of your work. i've got some days off coming up so i'm sure i'll have some big canvas to post around/between the holidays.

spray paint paintings are fun to do, i'm into space as well so def had some fun doing those when i first saw them
